ENG| Olympus OM-1 unboxing

My own piece that I looked forward to as a kid finally arrived. Let’s take a look at what’s in the package. The unboxing video is done by whoever and usually just takes all the stuff out of the box and that’s it. Let’s make it a little more like photographers, get comfortable, pour yourself something nice and let’s get to it. This is the body version of the OM-1 and the new version of the M.Zuiko 12-40mm F2.8 PRO II lens. The whole thing is the result of a photo shoot, not a video shoot. A total of 683 photos were used to create the GIFs.

In the first part we see the package itself, the new M.Zuiko 12-40mm F2.8 PRO II lens and a short manual and brochures, which I don’t think anyone reads 🙂

In the next section, the following things spilled out of the box:

• USB-C cable, power cable, charging box, battery itself
• cable holders
• cloth bag, most likely for the lens

The last part finally covers the OM-1 body itself:

Peak design anchors, memory cards and fifteen year old Glenfiddich not included 🙂
